WordPress Rocks
May 30, 2006
"First impression is the last impression", although WordPress themes and presentation convince me to get into it but in last few days I was checking and testing its features with multiple logins as admin, and guess what? WordPress has proved itself to me to say WordPress Rocks.
BUT, there is a problem, I am not able to post here from my email. I dont know wordpress support his feature or not, (which blogger has), so is there anybody from blogosphere who can help me here out?
I am Blogger Member – No More
May 25, 2006
Since last three weeks I was busy in my 2nd Year Exams, exams are still ON but only two papers are left which are quite easy and I have much time (5 days) for each to get prepared so finally, today took time and managed to leave the blogger and make my way to wordpress.
How it happened and Why? During my exams and before, I was reading, watching and feeling jealous about the so neat and well designed WordPress Blogs, I searched a lot to make those themes work in Blogger but failed. Also, the category thing which blogger lack, meanwhile I tried many free blog hostings and got this WordPress.com and here I am posting my first post.
What Next?In wordpress I will be changing my posting style, writing style and will like to share my written work(which is'nt much) here. Also, I am thinking to add some sections like Funny Lounge, Wallpapers, SMS Messages, etc to be added here and updated regularly.
What about MhGold's Existing Blog? It has been Imported. But its 134 posts are still in uncategorised folder, but soon or gradually I will be catgorising it one by one.
Hindu majority district in Pakistan!
May 17, 2006

It was a surprise to know that a Hindu majority district still exists in Pakistan.
Yoginder Sikand has written that Tharpakar or Thar Parkar district in Pakistan has a Hindu majority though he says that the voice of the people does not reach anywhere because they are mostly Dalits/Backward Communities and the Hindu community representatives in Assemblies are mostly the upper castes like Banias.
I tried to get more information about the district but couldn’t find much. If they are not in a majority by now and even if they comprise 30-40% of the district’s population, it is an interesting and gladdening news. In fact, substantial population of Hindus survived the partition and remained in Sindh. They work as ‘haari’ at the farms of landlords. Wikipedia says that Hindu population migrated during the war of 1965 still substantial chunk of population is Hindu. Also, the tribes like Bhil live in the district.
